The drummers were excellent.
I always wanted to try pocky.
I liked the calligraphy (shodou ?).
My daughters loved dressing up in kimono's.
I missed the aikido and kendo, I'll have to catch that next time.

I think we need more space. Was it successful enough to do it again?

What Went Well.
Taiko Drummers
Shodou
Kimonos
Mt Fuji - Japanese Goodies
Samuraii Swords
Ningyo

Things To Improve.
Kendo, Aikido - Better visibility is needed, perhaps some fixed seating.

All Interesting New Ideas.
Does Bunraku exist outside Japan?
Snacks and Seating - get a cup of tea and some sushi - away from the stalls.
Coverage of a popular Matsuri on wide screen television, though presumably not live.

The stalls were all great, but the venue was too small and it was impossible to get close enough to see the aikido, kendo, etc. Maybe in the future a small admissions charge would sort out the genuinely interested from the casually curious?

Other things to possible include in future events: sumo, kabuki, Japanese cinema.
