Japan Day
On October 21st we are holding a Japan Day in Manchester. This is going to be our most ambitious event yet. Japan Day will be held in the magnificent Great Hall, in Manchester Town Hall, which has a floor area of 5000 sq. ft, or if you prefer, 300 tatami mats!
Planning for this event is still at an early stage. We will need the support of our membership in order to make this event a success. We would welcome suggestions regarding the content of this event, as well as practical help in both preparation and help on the day. What would you like to see at the Japan Day? What would attract the general public? Please let us have your ideas.

JSNW Events
Over the last two years your Society has organised many events, most of which you'll find described on the events page. Have you attended any? How many? Were they any good? What kind of events would you like your Society to hold? Can you suggest any specific events? Perhaps there is local Japan related event or organisation that would be of interest to a wider audience. Let us have your suggestions.

Newsletter
You should have all received your copies of the July issue of our Newsletter by now. Have you read it? Did you find it interesting? Do you like the colour format, or would a (much cheaper) black and white version be good enough? We would welcome your views.
