The popular joint JSNW and JET Alumni Association NW Summer Matsuri returns again for 2026!
Last year the Matsuri was hosted at the prestigious Palm House in Sefton Park for the first time, and we are again delighted to bring this summer of celebration back to Sefton Park this year!
We are excited to showcase traditional and contemporary Japanese culture in the Northwest, and this event is absolutely free for everyone to attend!
You can once again expect to see fantastic koto (Japanese harp) and taiko performances, as well as martial arts, kimono, ikebana, crafts, and much more!
Come and take part in activities, watch talented musicians and enjoy authentic Japanese food, all while enjoying the beauty of the impressive and historic Palm House.
